Year 2 Teaching AssistantYear 2 Teaching Assistant Milk Education are working with a primary school in Hindley (WN2) who are seeking a full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to work 1-2-1 with a child in Year 2 who has Autism.This role is starting in as soon as possible and will be a temporary, long-term role.The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child's learning needs for this Year 2 Teaching Assistant position. The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:30pm, Monday to Friday.This Year 2 Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child's needs are being met. In this Year 2 Teaching Assistant role you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.Teaching Assistant- Role & Responsibilities:Promote inclusion and acceptance of all childrenSupport children consistently whilst responding to their individual needsWork with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriateDeliver catch-up sessionsTeaching Assistant Level- Non-negotiables:Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two yearsMust have a passion for educationMust possess good numeracy and literacy skillsMust have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacherMust be reliable and punctualWhy choose Milk?Milk Education are an eco-friendly, purpose-driven supply agency, driven to make a change.
