Channel Business Development Manager - Office Printing / Device Technology

Remote - Bedfordshire office, 2 days a month and UK travel. Up to £46,000 + £20,000 OTE + £540 per month car allowance or company car

A leading Printer Manufacturer is growing their Channel Device Technology team as they continue to grow and get busier. They are looking for a Channel Business Development Manager with experience in the Office Print and managing Resellers.

About the role:

As the Channel Business Development Manager you will be focusing on developing their current existing Channel Partners and Resellers around their Office Print / MFD / MFP/ Device Technology.

As part of your role you will be home and field based spending time in the field (mostly across the Southern region) building relationships with key stakeholders.

What you will be doing:

-You will continuously explore and drive new and existing equipment business opportunities within the partner channel, ensuring sales targets and key KPI’s are met.

-You will work with partners to increase business performance and product mix achieving product sales ambition.

-You will produce and work to a business plan ensuring profitable business development.

-You will propose any marketing requirements for the segment and agree activities that should be in the business plan to support target

-You will build and convert partner prospects and ensure pipeline growth is maintained and allocated sales targets are met or surpassed.

-You will keep abreast of new products and developments both with company and competitors’ products

-You will work with partners to organise and support open days, demos, reference visits for capital equipment prospects

What we are looking for:

-Strong experience in printing device/office products and/or related print hardware experience

-Strong knowledge of customer drivers and competitor offerings across the printing industry.

-Strong channel management experience; including experience of developing business relationships and business growth with channel partners and resellers.

-Excellent commercial acumen, coupled with strong negotiation skills – experience of /ability to negotiate at board level and identify large business opportunities.

-Ability to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organisation.

-Full UK driving license.

What we are offering:

In return we are offering a salary to £50,000 + £20,000 OTE + £540 per month car allowance or company car, 6% Pension, + Private Medical Cover + Life Assurance + 26 days holiday (plus Bank holidays).
