As part of a dynamic team, you’ll be contributing to continued expansion and evolution.In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure the seamless flow of stock, optimizing efficiency for our clients customers. You'll play a key role in reviewing and refining processes, helping to maximize product availability while minimizing overstock. With plenty of scope for personal and professional growth, you'll gain deeper insight into diverse product ranges and business operations. This is an exciting time to join, as our client continuously evolve product offerings, sourcing strategies, and methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Generate supplier orders from both the UK and EuropeProcess ‘Shopping Cart’ orders for genuine spare partsVerify order confirmations against placed ordersCommunicate any cost variances to the appropriate managerRespond to both internal and external inquiries regarding ‘out of stock’ ETAsAllocate transport costs to deliveries, ensuring accurate margin calculations in the systemTrack and expedite orders, updating expected delivery dates in the systemManage obsolete stock in the system and notify Sales or Spares teams of unfulfilled back ordersAnalyze changes in demand to adjust replenishment levels accordinglyUtilize sales data to identify product trends and forecast future salesBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance communicationAssist the Supply Chain Manager with imports from ChinaMaintain the Availability ReportInvestigate invoice discrepancies and request credit notes as neededSkills & Experience:Strong proficiency in mathematics and Microsoft ExcelExperience in supply chain and retail distribution is preferredExcellent IT skills, with familiarity with Seqol being a plusA desire to continuously develop and refine skillsMeticulous attention to detailOutstanding communication abilitiesExceptional problem-solving skillsThis role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a dynamic and fast-paced company, while advancing your own career in the supply chain field.
