Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and families? Wandsworth Council’s Children’s Services is looking for dedicated Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join our committed team. About the Role
* Brief Intervention Service: Work intensively with families for up to six months, co-creating child and family assessments, family-led plans, and delivering targeted support through Family Space Clinics.
* Family Safeguarding Service: Join a collaborative team of Social Workers and Practitioners across mental health, substance misuse, and domestic abuse, supporting families in three Wandsworth clusters: Roehampton, Battersea, and Tooting.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for compassionate, proactive Social Workers who:
* Hold Social Work England membership and have completed their ASYE Year.
* Bring experience from both voluntary and statutory sectors, with applied knowledge of relevant legislation.
* Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills, understanding the needs of children and young people.
