Package Job Title: Head of Editorial, Digital and Content Salary: circa £111,000 Contract Type: Permanent (hybrid) Closing date: 25th October 2024 Our client, a leading player in the tech industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as the Head of Editorial, Digital, and Content. This is a key leadership role that will contribute to shaping the organisation's communications strategy and overseeing the creation of engaging and impactful written and visual content. As the Head of Editorial, Digital, and Content, you will be responsible for managing both the creative and strategic aspects of content creation. Your expertise in producing punchy and engaging content will be essential in translating complex issues for diverse audiences. You will work closely with high-profile leaders to develop written materials such as op-eds, reports, speeches, and thought leadership pieces. In this fast-paced role, you will operate in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver on style and substance will be crucial. Additionally, your experience in communicating on challenging and complex issues, particularly those related to technology and society, will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the creation of written and visual content for our client's communications and engagement team. Develop and execute the organisation's digital strategy, ensuring alignment with key objectives. Coordinate with various teams to maintain an announcement schedule and fact-check all related materials. Collaborate with the Data and Implementation Team to gather newsworthy data to support the impact of the Board's recommendations. Provide support and materials to enhance clear writing across the organisation. Produce written content to support board members, trustees, and leadership group members. Manage internal communications, with the assistance of the Communications Associate. Oversee the work of employees and external contractors supporting key content and editorial deliverables.
