Site Manager - Civils West Yorkshire Office – Covering the Greater Leeds Area Civil Engineering – Drainage & Infrastructure Up to £55k + Car Allowance/Vehicle + Fuel Card + Package My Client are a Yorkshire based Civil Engineering Main Contractor that require an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in civil engineering? Someone capable of delivering high-quality projects while managing a diverse range of challenges? This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic team delivering a range of drainage / watercourse framework projects in the Leeds area. DUTIES: • Liaise with the client to identify scope of works, present a solution and then deliver within agreed timescales • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel • Ensure project milestones are met in line with programme • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations • Report progress, budget, and any issues to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders • Resolve any site issues promptly to keep the project on track THE CANDIDATE: • Proven experience as a Site Manager on civils projects in a local authority setting • Strong knowledge of all aspects of drainage (installation, repair & maintenance) • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of workers and subcontractors • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships Salary / package: • Competitive basic salary (negotiable on candidate experience) • Company car or car allowance • Good pension scheme • Generous holiday entitlement For full details of the role please click the link to apply or contact me on (phone number removed) or forward your CV in confidence to (url removed)
