Are you a dynamic, data-driven professional with a passion for e-commerce and digital marketing? My client, a leader in luxury housewares design and innovation, is seeking an experienced Website Manager to oversee the growth and performance of their UK and European e-commerce platforms. This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious company operating from their UK office located in a picturesque village in Berkshire.Role Overview:As the Website Manager, you will be responsible for the UK and European online stores (including France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Ireland). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure their web stores deliver an exceptional shopping experience while driving sales and brand growth across multiple markets. Reporting directly to senior leadership, your role will be pivotal in shaping their online presence and success in these key regions.Key Responsibilities:Drive growth and expansion of their Shopify-based e-commerce stores across the UK and Europe.Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, working closely with the Performance Marketing Executive to ensure alignment with sales strategies and KPIs across all territories.Collaborate with the marketing team to analyse performance data from email, sales, and digital marketing channels, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.Use statistical models to forecast sales and manage inventory levels, working with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability.Develop and manage content for the website using HTML/CSS, and coordinate with a US-based development team for advanced functionalities.Lead the integration and supervision of an AI-based customer support chatbot, in partnership with the Customer Support team.Ensure content consistency and quality across all stores in their respective native languages, coordinating with translation agencies.Regularly report on KPIs by territory, presenting strategies for improvement in areas such as revenue, conversion rates, and traffic.Conduct competitor analysis to identify traffic-driving and conversion-boosting opportunities.Skills and Experience:Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to recognise success or failure and take corrective action.Data-driven approach to decision-making, with an in-depth understanding of UK/EU customer behavior.Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with additional knowledge of Liquid being a plus.Experience in web development project management is preferred.Hands-on experience with digital advertising tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and email marketing platforms.Familiarity with statistical models for sales forecasting and inventory management.Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or higher) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Proficiency in at least one European language (French, Spanish, Dutch, German, or Italian preferred).A minimum of 3 years’ experience in e-commerce, ideally with Magento or Shopify.What They Offer:Competitive salary: £45k + 20% bonus20 days annual leave, plus your birthday and bank holidaysStakeholder pension schemeCareer development and progression opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsTime off/lieu credit systemGenerous friends and family discount schemeFree on-site parking, well-being program, on-site gym, ping pong facilities, and moreFree monthly staff lunches, snacks, fruit, and beveragesIf you’re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment, apply today and contribute to setting the standard for luxury housewares in the digital age.
