Young Persons Support Worker Blackburn 20 hours pw Temporary - Permanent £16.50 Umbrella ph Our client, a social housing provider in Blackburn is looking for a Housing Support Worker to work within their Young Persons Foyer on a temporary to permanent basis Responsibilities of the Young Persons Support Worker include: Managing a caseload of around 12 clients aged 16- 25 years Liaising with Local Authorities housing teams surrounding new applications Supporting in the maintenance of the client waiting list Assessing new clients support needs Ensuring clients understand, and abide by their tenancy agreements Enabling clients to access employment, education and training opportunities Safeguarding clients and reporting any concerns Monitoring tenants rent accounts and supporting them to maximise their income Promoting clients to live independently and build lasting life skills Essential criteria of the Young Persons Support Worker include: Enhanced DBS Experience within a similar supported living environment
