Job DescriptionSTOCK CONTROLLERDepartment Operations Reporting to Head of LogisticsLocation London – AH Head OfficeContract Type PermanentHours Full time (40 hours a week)ROLE OVERVIEWAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our busy Logistics team. The role would suit someone looking with stock control experience to work with stores and head office teams to manage stock, pack and despatch customer orders and assist with other head office operations. You will need to be a hard-working, calm individual with good attention to detail. Based at our Anya Hindmarch Head Office, you will report to our Head of Logistics.RESPONSIBILITIESStock Control:Managing the Store Stockroom and products stored within.Receiving deliveries from our warehouse, unpack, check, validate and organize stock on shelvesManaging the stock consignments and following up on late returns.Daily headcounts and periodical stock takes.Throughout the week, packing and despatching web orders to customers.Gift wrapping itemsUpdating orders on the system (SAP)Creating DHL shipments using shipping toolsReporting on any discrepancies or issuesPhysical stock movement from the head office to the Village stores.Organising and managing the head office post room.Dealing with daily arrivals/despatches from couriersOrdering more supplies when neededEnsuring teams keep their parcels in the correct placeCo-ordinating daily and weekly pickups/drop offs from couriers as neededDistributing parcels around the officeAd hoc assistance to head office teams with moving items e.g. furniture, boxes, VM propsUnpacking and putting away deliveries of stock and packaging items e.g. pallets of boxes, carrier bags, packaging suppliesDaily store runs:Physical stock movement from the head office to the Village stores and back 3 times per week using the company van.Ad-hoc movements of props/packaging/stock between HO and the stores.IDEAL CANDIDATEGood communicator - sharing accurate and honest information with all staffProblem solver - ability to identify problems and escalate any issues as they ariseGood attention to detailHard working - with an ability to think ahead and plan workloadGood organisation and time management skillsCalm and balanced – ability to work effectively in busy and stressful periodsComputer literate with an enthusiasm and willingness to learn new systemsProficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAny experience with a stock system (ERP/WMS/Web platform) is advantageous, but not essentialEXPERIENCEExperience of working in logistics/operations, retail or fashion is advantageous, but not essentialEQUAL OPPORTUNITIES Anya Hindmarch is an equal opportunity employer.
