Senior Electrical Estimator

** THIS POSITION IS EXCLUSIVELY WITH NI JOBS** Your New Team & Role: The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company to one of Northern Irelands long established Electrical Contractors with 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland & UK. Due to increased business and strategic focus OHanlon & Farrell is seeking to recruit an additional & exciting opportunity for a SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATORinto a permanent, full-time position based in Newry. You'll play a key role within the Estimating Team by covering all aspects of the Tendering Process from Tender Request to Submission, additionally with career progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Accurately prepare and submit compliant tenders, using our estimating templates/software within clients required deadlines. Resolve any queries with the aim of securing the work Work as a team to proactively maintain and develop a strong network of contacts Handover secured projects to the Contracts team (Contract Managers/ Procurement etc) with detailed BOQ & Budgets What youll Need (Experience): At least 5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator/QS within the Construction environment A good level of secondary education demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy Have a technical knowledge of electrical installations ranging from domestic to large commercial / industrial Understand & analyses electrical drawings to establish the correct cost for various electrical projects Deadline driven Strong attention to detail Strong IT skills What youll Receive (Benefits): Competitive salary Early 2.30pm Finish Fridays 30 Days Annual Leave Gym Membership Pension Excellent Career Progression Opportunities Interested??
