How do we work?

We are looking for a Creative Strategist, to join the in-house Creative Services team. This is an unique role which combines Art Director and Conceptual Writer scope! You will have an opportunity to drive end to end process, from a campaign vision to production! The team is divided between UK and Poland and we work globally on each OANDA region and brand. The position requires the full understanding of the brand, product and market in which it is competing so the ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of real creative work experience, a strong portfolio of work showcasing distinctive and powerful ideas, with a willingness to support the ACD/CD in their day-to-day roles, championing the development of big ideas into campaign collateral.


Essential: Candidate must be able show examples of their work by providing a link to their portfolio in the resume.


In this role, you will:

  • Conceptualize ideas that work across multiple media channels.
  • A clear drive to produce brilliant work, consistently.
  • Pro-active in seeking out creative opportunities.
  • Translate complex information into simple and compelling conceptual campaigns, for clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Specific experience conceptualizing for socially led multi-channel campaigns.
  • A curiosity that seeks out new solutions.
  • Effectively communicate creative ideas and strategies.
  • Champion quality standards across all creative and deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of industry, competitor, and cultural trends, pulling these references into creative ideas; influence industry trends and contribute to shaping OANDA strategies.


What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

  • Strong background in generating powerful marketing ideas
  • 5+ years of experience in an agency environment or client-side
  • Experience in both electronic and traditional medias
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Be persuasive in explaining your work, process, and decisions.


Nice to have:

  • A knowledge of trading is advantageous, but not essential as training can be given.
