Senior Estate Planning ManagerLocation: Surrey (hybrid)Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annumJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Estate Planning Manager with expertise in public sector estates planning, particularly in the health or life sciences sectors. This role, part of the Strategy Life Sciences Service Line, will report directly to the Strategy in Life Sciences Director and work closely within a small team. The position will be based primarily at a major government life sciences site in Surrey, with occasional travel to other UK locations. Ideal candidates will have a background in Architecture or Masterplanning and experience in strategic estate management.Key Responsibilities:Plot management of the client’s estateOversee the 'client needs' processes and stakeholder relationshipsManage Estate Development Control PlansLead Technical Board management and report managementOversee business processes for estate planning functionsAssist in developing robust information to support project delivery and implementationProvide strategic advisory supportSupport business development within the Strategy Life Sciences (SLS) teamEssential Skills:Strong consultative approach to client engagementExpertise in stakeholder management and alliance buildingAnalytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to apply data-driven analysis for strategic decision-makingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in delivering high-quality reports and presentationsProcess improvement and compliance managementExperience managing assurance and validation processesProven ability to work as part of a teamProficiency in Autodesk software, particularly AutoCAD and RevitEssential Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field in the construction industryExtensive experience in construction and/or the public sectorProject Management qualifications (Prince 2 / APM PQ)Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with political awarenessEstablished relationships with technical partners and industry expertsDesirable Qualifications and Experience:Experience delivering Estate StrategyFamiliarity with Public Sector Estates teamsExperience managing laboratories or high containment environmentsBachelor’s or equivalent in Project ManagementMA or Postgraduate qualificationChartered status (ARB/RIBA, RICS, CIAT, CIBSE)If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please contact Sam Lee on 020 3757 5000 or email [email protected].
