This is an excellent opportunity to join our team looking after a young man living in his own home. The client lives with acquired brain injury, epilepsy, diabetes and some complex needs. We are searching for an experienced Support Worker who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Working for one of the UK’s leading specialist therapeutic providers.Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 3:30pm-8:30am (with a sleep shift)   Client & Role: Complex care support for a young man who requires support with all activities of daily living, including moving & handling, medication administration, food preparation and personal care. He loves the park, cinema and other recreational activities. The role would involve taking the client swimming or out on walks. Successful Applicant: Previous experience of 12 months in care is essential – training will also be provided where necessary. Experience with cerebral palsy. Experience with epilepsy. Knowledge of supporting an individual with insulin-dependent diabetes. A full driving license would be advantageous.
