Job title:    Support Worker Location:   Woolsington, Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team looking after a young man living in his own home. The client lives with acquired brain injury, epilepsy, diabetes and some complex needs. Working for one of the UK’s leading specialist therapeutic providers.Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 3:30pm-8:30am (with a sleep shift)   Client & Role: Complex care support for a young man who requires support with all activities of daily living, including moving & handling, medication administration, food preparation and personal care. He loves the park, cinema and other recreational activities. The role would involve taking the client swimming or out on walks. Successful Applicant: Previous experience of 12 months in care is essential – training will also be provided where necessary. Experience with cerebral palsy. Experience with epilepsy. Knowledge of supporting an individual with insulin-dependent diabetes. A full driving license would be advantageous.
