Introduction We are thrilled to be working with leading distribution company based in North Walsham. They are a close-knit group, and they are looking for a new Procurement & Ledger Controller to support their team. Key Responsibilities: * Manage procurement activities in line with a monthly budget * Update and maintain purchase orders * Monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure value and availability * Track stock due dates and communicate with suppliers as needed * Update order dates in our IT system when required * Reconcile supplier delivery notes and invoices * Enter purchase invoices into our accounting system * Resolve supplier delivery discrepancies * Arrange for supplier returns when necessary * Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers * Communicate any delivery delays to the Customer Services Team * Provide support to the Customer Services Department during busy periods and holiday cover, including handling incoming orders, emails, and phone calls Desirable Skills and Abilities: * Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage or SAP. * Strong attention to detail. * Experience in supply chain logistics and finance. * Excellent time management skills.
