Position: Graduate Town Planner Location: Harrogate About Our Client : Dedicated to transforming towns and cities into thriving, inclusive, and sustainable communities. Our multidisciplinary client works collaboratively to deliver innovative planning solutions that meet the needs of today's diverse populations. What You'll Do: Planning and Development: Assist in the preparation and review of planning applications, zoning amendments, and development proposals. Community Engagement: Participate in public consultations, workshops, and community meetings to gather feedback and ensure community needs are met. Research and Analysis: Conduct site assessments, demographic studies, and environmental impact analyses to support planning decisions. Policy Development: Contribute to the formulation of planning policies, land use plans, and urban design guidelines. Project Management: Support senior planners in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.About You: Education: A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in planning software (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD). Passion: A genuine interest in urban development, sustainability, and community engagement.
