Draughtsman – Architectural Steel Location: Hertfordshire Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract: Permanent, Full-time We are currently seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is with a leading architectural steel company specialising in secondary steel projects. Key Responsibilities: * Create detailed technical drawings for architectural and structural steel components. * Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications. * Work on secondary steel structures, including staircases, handrails, and other architectural elements. * Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project changes. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the architectural or structural steel industry. * Extensive knowledge and experience working with secondary steel. * Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar). * Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
