As a Business Development Manager , you would be joining a diverse and thoughtful team of IP and business professionals with the goals of expanding SunIP’s market presence and providing exceptional sales and customer relationship services to our sophisticated and global clientele. This Business Development Manager position is fully remote. Candidates must reside in the United Kingdom and must be open to travel. Key Responsibilities: Develop new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Understand customer needs and requirements and educate prospective and existing clients regarding the company’s services. Deliver presentations, participate in web demos, and attend elite conferences in order to articulate SunIP’s value proposition. Close sales and achieve sales targets. Maintain a database of current and potential customers. Manage and nurture quality business relationships and client accounts. Recognize and take advantage of upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients. Required Experience/Knowledge: At least one (1) year of experience working on a sales/business development team selling patent filing, patent annuities, patent translations services, patent case management platforms, or patent technology-related services. At least two (2) years of business-to-business sales experience with a focus on new business development. Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree Strong relationship building skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Charismatic, curious, and dynamic personality. Proven track record in achieving goals.
