Role: Support Worker Salary: £11.89 - £12.19 per hour Service: Fieldbrook Walk, Westhoughton Shifts: Long day shift - 09:00am - 22:00pm Sleep in shift - 1000am - 23:00pm then into sleep shift of 23:00pm - 08:00am followed by 08:00am - 10:00am. Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too. Work across various shift patterns including early, late, weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available. Your Service Fieldbrook Walk in the Westhoughton provides supported living services to people with learning disabilities and a range of complex needs across the North of England area. Supporting people who have a greater level of independence, individuals have their own tenancy and a separate support package which is provided by Consensus. Next Steps Once you've applied our dedicated in-house recruitment team will call to share more about the role. The next step will be an interview in the service, where you'll meet the team and the people we support. If successful, we'll organise your Free DBS Check and references prior to confirming your start date. Your journey will then begin with a 3-day online induction, before heading to the service to get started. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and no experience is needed. You may be new to care, or already have experience in the social care sector or NHS (Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant). As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and you are able to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people - then we're here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
