About the role: Are you passionate about supporting children’s well-being and providing pastoral care? We are looking for a compassionate Welfare Officer to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Haringey. This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of students, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As the Welfare Officer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students. You will work closely with SEN students, providing mentorship and pastoral support, ensuring they feel valued and supported both inside and outside the classroom. You will have a key responsibility in monitoring attendance, working with families, and collaborating with staff to create a positive learning environment where all students can thrive. Key Responsibilities: • Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students with SEN. • Monitor and support student attendance and well-being. • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and parents to support student progress. • Promote positive mental health and emotional resilience in students. • Assist with the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans.
