Hybrid Senior Architect & Project Manager

As part of a leading international architectural firm, you will oversee prestigious projects across the Middle East and Europe. This role is ideal for an experienced architect ready to expand into project management whilst retaining hands-on architectural exposure, guiding concepts through to fully developed, executed projects. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to take architectural concepts and develop them into sophisticated, fully formed projects. In this role, you will apply both your creative vision and technical knowledge to refine early-stage designs, ensuring that the architectural intent is maintained and enhanced as the project progresses, whilst taking increased responsibility in commercial project management. Key Responsibilities: Architectural & Design Leadership : Lead the design development process, taking initial concepts and transforming them into comprehensive projects that meet the highest standards of design and functionality. You will balance creativity with technical precision, ensuring that the vision is realised. Project Management : Take responsibility for the overall coordination and execution of projects, from programme management to resource allocation. This role requires the ability to oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Client & Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a primary point of contact for high-profile international clients, fostering relationships while ensuring the successful progression of complex projects. Your ability to manage client expectations while maintaining design integrity will be essential. Risk & Programme Management : Oversee the creation and management of project programmes, resource planning, and risk mitigation strategies. You will ensure that all aspects of the project, from design to delivery, are aligned with the overall objectives and commercial constraints. Ideal Candidate: Experienced Architect : Proven experience in leading and delivering high-value projects (£10-£70 million), with a portfolio of work including schemes in the Middle East. Aspirations in Project Management : You are ready to transition into project leadership, taking on the responsibility of both design oversight and strategic project management. Conceptual to Technical Expertise : You have the ability to take an architectural concept from its inception and guide it through to a fully developed, buildable project. Strong proficiency in Revit and coordination with technical teams is essential. Organisational Leadership : Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that architectural intent and technical execution are in harmony throughout the project’s lifecycle.
