Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Education sector. This role will involve supporting the implementation of a new MIS (Management Information System) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for a leading educational institution. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the new system integrates seamlessly with existing platforms such as Finance, Procurement, Academic Recording end to end. This role is onsite 5 days.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements, ensuring the new MIS/ERP system supports all critical functions (Finance, Procurement, Academic Recording, Well-being, etc.).

Business Process Mapping:

Analyse and document current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and gaps. Define new processes to support the implementation of the new system.

System Integration:

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the new MIS/ERP system integrates with existing platforms and external systems.

Data-Driven Solutions:

Support the organisation in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance decision-making processes, focusing on data integrity and ensuring the new system meets these requirements.

Validation & Evidence:

Provide detailed analysis and reporting to demonstrate that the chosen MIS/ERP solution is suitable, scalable, and sustainable for the business needs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the liaison between the school’s leadership team, internal staff, technical teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.

Implementation Support:

Work closely with the team supporting the existing system during the transition phase to ensure continuity of services and smooth migration. Change Management: Support organisational change efforts by helping to define and communicate the impact of the new system on the school’s processes and stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Education sector or in supporting education-related projects is a must. Strong understanding of Management Information Systems (MIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Experience with systems that integrate multiple departments, such as Finance, Procurement, Academic Recording, Well-being, and external bodies Demonstrated ability to define clear business processes and technical requirements in a high-pressure, time-limited environment. Experience in data analysis, data migration, and ensuring data quality during system transitions. Ability to provide evidence and reports demonstrating the effectiveness and suitability of new system solutions. Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, and end users. Ability to work collaboratively with teams supporting the existing system during the implementation and transition phases. Desirable: Experience in large-scale system transformation and change management within educational institutions. Familiarity with agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
