JOB TITLE : ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

About the Role:
Setsquare is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Cornwall on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Required to work as part of a team either leading or assisting in the performance of maintenance activities, installation and repair
- Experience to confidently diagnose faults, identifying spares and carry out the work efficiently
- Self-motivated and takes ownership of the work.
- Due to the complex nature of the site the team work to a strict maintenance instruction whereby a step by step method statement must be followed, failing to do this can cause a serious impact to plant and the safety of others so the post holder must be attentive and compliant at all time
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum -City & Guilds / NVQ or HNC / HND Electrical Engineering -18th edition
- Preferably degree educated in an Electrical Engineering/Technical discipline - chartered or equivalent
- Proven knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Budget monitoring, commercial awareness and experience at managing contractors
- Previous work experience in the nuclear sector / industrial environment advantageous, specifically high voltage plant / equipment
- Proven ability in the preparation of reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Suitable relevant technical experience including the preparation of technical documentation, the review and approval of technical proposals and procedures, experience of construction, testing and commissioning activities
- Experience of supervising and setting contractors/sub -contractors to work in their roles and experience in leading a project team
