Job Title: Primary Maths Teacher (Year 5/6)Location: Ilford, Greater LondonEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary: £38,000 - 40,000Start Date: Immediate or JanuaryMLK Education Search are seeking dedicated and experienced Primary Maths Teacher to join an amazing independent prep school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to Year 5 and Year 6 students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of our students.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5/6 students.Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ understanding and enjoyment of mathematics.Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support students’ academic and personal development.Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with Year 5/6 students.Strong knowledge of the primary maths curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.If this sounds like an exciting opportunity that you would like to pursue, please APPLY NOW!Or alternatively, please contact me on:T: 0203 6333 223E: [email protected]
