Art Director/Creative Lead

We are working with a modern, independent communications agency on the hunt for an ambitious creative lead – who shows a strong passion for creating standout campaigns!

The agency produce award winning campaigns, working with notable brands across sectors including beauty, FMCG, homewares, DIY, and government.

We have worked with the agency for years now, placing people at varying levels who are all loving it! – culture is super collaborative and supportive.

The Role

Partnering with the Head of Copy, you will be responsible for helping the creative department on the delivery of effective work across various brand accounts. Responsibilities will include:

• Developing big, channel-neutral ideas and brilliant social concepts
• Providing design and art direction for diverse sectors
• Mentoring junior team members
• Signing off on creative work with the senior copywriter
• Reporting to the board of directors
• Aiming to win awards and managing award submissions
• Presenting confidently to clients and refining creative briefs

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD)
• Knowledge of print and digital design best practices
• Growing understanding of AI
