On behalf of a renowned Facilities Management company we are seeking an experienced ISO 55001 Consultant for an interim contract. This exciting opportunity is aimed at a qualified professional with deep expertise in asset management systems, particularly ISO 55001, to support the company in achieving and maintaining compliance with international standards. Role Overview: As an ISO 55001 Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's asset management systems, ensuring alignment with ISO 55001. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to optimise asset management processes and practices, driving operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Your role will also involve conducting gap analyses, audits, and offering strategic advice on how to best achieve certification or re-certification. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of the ISO 55001 Asset Management System. Conduct gap analysis and prepare action plans to meet ISO 55001 requirements. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align asset management practices with business objectives. Provide expert guidance on asset management best practices, risk management, and lifecycle management strategies. Prepare the organisation for ISO 55001 certification audits and lead continuous improvement initiatives post-certification. Conduct internal audits, assessments, and reviews to monitor compliance and identify areas for enhancement. Deliver training and knowledge sharing sessions to relevant staff to ensure ISO 55001 principles are understood and implemented effectively. Act as the primary point of contact for all ISO 55001 related matters during the interim period. Requirements: Extensive experience in implementing, managing, and auditing ISO 55001 within the Facilities Management or related sectors. Proven track record in successfully leading organisations through ISO 55001 certification processes. In-depth knowledge of asset management principles, risk management, and lifecycle planning. Ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously to drive results within tight deadlines. Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications or qualifications in asset management or ISO standards (desirable but not essential).
