Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years of UK experience to join our thriving, independent business. You will be working sole charge in our newly build second branch opening in Alexandra Palace this year. It is a beautiful building in the heart of north London. We are a popular and established community vets in Finchley, London, and due to growth since we opened in 2017 we are expanding and seeking a vet to join our friendly and professional team.If you would flourish providing excellent care to clients and their pets, this is an excellent opportunity. There is a varied caseload and you will undertake a mix of consultations and routine surgery, and have case continuity.You will be comfortable with working sole-charge. An interest in exotics is advantageous as our Finchley branch is renowned for being a centre for exotics. For an experienced candidate there could be a chance to be part of the senior leadership team with the practice owners and contribute to business development, at an exciting time as we open a second branch.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent standard of clinical care to animalsDeliver new customer satisfaction to build client base and ensure customer return and retentionCommunicate effectively with clients about cases and treatmentProvide thorough approach to new casesClinical and Surgical work – consultations, diagnostic investigations, surgical procedures quickly and safely and inpatient careMaintain up-to-date clinical recordsWork in a timely mannerEnsuring that your work supports the Director’s objective of ensuring the practice runs efficiently and effectively, and grows the client basePromote animal welfare through client education and preventative medicine during consultationsSign clients up to the preventative healthcare planWorking hours The working hours will be our opening hours of 9:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.Our clinical team work Sundays 10am-2pm for consults only at the Finchley branch on a 1 in 3 rota. No Saturdays or on-call requirement.
