THE ROLE: SENIOR GROWTH MANAGER

The Senior Growth Manager will be pivotal in driving the market success of our maritime financial solutions, including multi-currency payroll, supplier payment solutions, and e-wallet services for maritime customers and seafarers.

This role will be hands-on, crafting communications that directly drive our growth, creating compelling product marketing campaigns to drive user and feature adoption as well as enabling our sales teams and keeping customer and market insight core to our product strategy.

Your new day-to-day will involve:


Growth Strategy Development: Develop and execute growth marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention of our crew account.Experimentation: Design and implement experiments to identify the most effective tactics for increasing feature adoption and activation rates.User Onboarding: Optimise the onboarding process to ensure new users quickly understand and realise the value of our products.Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling, clear messaging and communications that articulate the value and unique advantages of MarTrust’s products. Ensure this messaging is consistently applied across all marketing materials and channels. Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the tools, resources, and training needed to effectively sell MarTrust’s products. This includes the creation of sales collateral, case studies, and presentations that resonate with target customers. Data Analysis: Analyse user data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.Collaboration: Work closely with product, research, design, engineering and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with product development and user needs.Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and understand the needs and preferences of seafarers.Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Products Worked On:

Multi-currency payroll and supplier payment solutions tailored for maritime customers.

An innovative multi-currency e-wallet offering both virtual and physical cards designed for seafarers.


This is what we need from you:

  • 5 years work experience including minimum 2 in growth/product marketing or similar roles
  • Experience in financial services, fintech or banking products highly valued. Strategic Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for digital products or services, particularly in the financial or maritime sectors.
  • Campaign Development and Execution: Proven track record in creating and managing successful marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing platforms.
  • Customer and Market Insights: Strong ability in conducting market research, customer interviews, and using data analytics to glean insights that inform marketing strategies and product development.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Experience in developing effective product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and differentiates the product in the market.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Demonstrated capability to work closely with product management, sales, design, and engineering teams to align marketing strategies with product development and sales objectives.
  • Sales Enablement: Experience in creating tools and materials (like sales kits, presentations, case studies) that aid the sales team in the selling process.
  • Adaptability and Agility: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt marketing strategies to rapidly changing market conditions and organizational needs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex product information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in using data and metrics to guide marketing decisions and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and out-of-the-box to create innovative marketing strategies that capture attention and engage customers.
