The company Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) is a division of Nano Dimension, and we are an awarding-winning global leader in the development and supply of application software, electronics, and ink system components into the industrial inkjet printing market. The role: As the Head of Manufacturing, you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations, from strategic planning to day-to-day management. Your key focus will be driving LEAN principles, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of direct reports and work closely with stakeholders to implement best practices and continuously improve. Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement the GIS manufacturing strategy to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery. Drive LEAN principles to improve efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Manage production schedules and budgets to ensure products meet quality, cost, and timeline targets. Mentor and develop a team of 8 direct reports to ensure high performance. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business practices. Skills and Attributes: Proven transformational leadership skills with the ability to drive operational improvement at the shop floor level Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Proven analytical and problem solving abilities derived from LEAN/ Six Sigma deployments Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure Technical mindset with experience leading Electronics and Mechanical Assembly teams An appreciation of and an ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures. Qualifications and Experience: Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering /manufacturing discipline or equivalent NVQ Level 7 qualification. Demonstrable experience of leading a manufacturing function with a proven track record in strategic manufacturing leadership delivering effective manufacturing strategies, policies, processes and systems Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements. Proven project management and build quality experience.
