To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity,we are looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our FieldSolutions Implementation and Support (FSIS) Design team as Program Manager. Inthis key role, you will own difficult physical security design projects andprograms across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Key job responsibilities • Drive tactical physical security design projects and programs across EMEA • Engage with other teams to coordinate designs and specify securityrequirements in 2D and 3D using software programs such as CAD, REVIT, and BIM • Manage external physical security design firms during the entire designprocess • Ensure all physical security design projects and programs follow standards,policies, and guidelines • Ensure all projects and programs are consistently improving on costeffectiveness A day in the life As a Program Manager on the FSIS Design team, you will join a team ofprofessionals supporting the Security and Loss Prevention team with thecreation and review of physical security designs for new launches, retrofits,expansions, and parking lots. This includes video surveillance systems, access control, and intrusiondetection across all business units except for corporate offices and third-party sites. To achieve this goal, you will drive tactical risk-based, costeffective, and operationally acceptable physical security design projects andprograms that enable the prevention, intervention, and investigation ofsecurity incidents, minimize losses, and mitigate risks within operationalsites across EMEA. You will engage with other teams to coordinate designs and specify securityrequirements in 2D and 3D using software programs such as CAD, REVIT, and BIM.You will be responsible for onboarding as well as managing external physicalsecurity design firms during the entire design process. You will also ensurethat all of your physical security design projects and programs followstandards, policies, and guidelines. Finally, you will identify and drive change within the business, pushinginitiatives such as security design process improvements, design optimizationthrough cost savings, updating of standards, automation of tasks, and FSIScross-team support. About the team Working in partnership with our stakeholders, Security and Loss Preventionsecures the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promotes security duringbusiness conversations. Sitting within Security and Loss Prevention, the FSISteam does this by managing physical security maintenance activities andinstalling compliant security systems in most business units across EMEA. This is achieved by providing equipment and installation costs, sourcingexternal business partners to install security systems, ensuring installersfollow agreed methodology and guidelines for system installation andcommissioning, and reviewing ad-hoc installation requests across the networkto ensure business agreed purpose is met. We deliver projects and initiativesto improve, standardize, and create end-user and sustainable security designsthat comply with local legislation and Amazon standards. We also improve the current EMEA security infrastructure to optimize Securityand Loss Prevention performance and support business initiatives. Finally, westrive for a consistent and scalable approach to continuously support thefast-changing business environment and mitigate risks to Amazon. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A relevant degree or degree equivalent (e.g., engineering, technology,security) - Relevant experience in the security field andor relevant experience in thephysical security design domain - Relevant experience using Autodesk software (e.g., Autocad, Naviswork,Revit) - Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)in a professional environment, particularly Excel to collate and analysemetrics - Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- A relevant advanced degree or advanced degree equivalent - • Relevant industry certification (e.g., ASIS Certified ProtectionProfessional (CPP), ASIS Associate Protection Professional (APP), TransportedAsset Protection Association (TAPA) certification such as FSR, PSR, TSR) - Project management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional(PMP), PRINCE2) - Relevant experience in project management and delivery - Upper intermediate proficiency in a second European language Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
