Department Overview: Marketing & Communications The Marketing & Communications team at Capital Dynamics works with an extended network of partners around the world. The team oversees the global branding, public relations/media, internal and external communications, digital/social media presence, client events, webinars and conferences as well as thought leadership and industry recognition initiatives both at the corporate- and product-levels. Whilst international in scope, the team takes a localized approach to address the sophisticated needs of investors in the regions in which Capital Dynamics operates. Role Purpose: We’re seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to shape and implement the firm’s external communications strategy for Private Equity and Clean Energy investments. In this role, you’ll craft and amplify narratives that highlight our investment strategies, with a focus on impactful financial communications, content development, and public relations across key global markets. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Design and execute communication plans that elevate the Private Equity and Clean Energy investment strategies, reaching clients, media, and industry partners. Develop thought leadership content in partnership with investment teams, with a focus on regional relevance. Collaborate with PR agencies in key markets to roll out tailored media initiatives. Draft and distribute compelling press releases, whitepapers, newsletters, and other materials. Provide media training for spokespersons, equipping them with effective messaging for interviews. Build strong relationships with media outlets and journalists. Prepare engaging materials for investor meetings, client events, and media engagements. Craft and refine content for multiple channels, including award submissions, the website, and webinars. Strengthen social media presence by creating targeted investment-related content and fostering community engagement. Review and edit investment communications to ensure consistency and alignment with the firm’s voice and brand. Assist in crafting speeches, presentations, and communications for senior executives. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, using insights to shape communication strategies. Experience and Qualifications: Extensive experience in financial / investment communications, with a strong understanding of investment strategies (Private Equity and Clean Energy / Renewables Investments). This is an essential requirement. Previous experience collaborating with investment teams. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail. Significant experience managing PR agencies and engaging directly with media and journalists. Strong analytical and strategic thinking in media management and content development. Proven ability to develop thought leadership content, including trend analysis and newsworthy narratives based on subject matter expertise. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency with various communication tools and platforms. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in the financial services/asset management industry. Languages: Must be fluent in English and display superior writing skills. Additional language skills, preferably Italian, German, French, and Spanish are highly desirable.
