Finance Business Manager - 6 month FTC (Temp to Perm) | North London (Hybrid) | Consumer | £50,000 - £60,000
Simpson Judge are partnering with a global multi-platform business in Retail, Hospitality and Media that are looking for a Finance Business Manager to join them in their North London office (hybrid, 2 days in office). There is a tangible potential for extension of this contract, due to workload requirements & a permanent opportunity in the future.
This role will report into the Director of Product & Partnerships whilst supporting the food, homeware and partnerships area of the business. This is a business critical role, which will introduce expertise, challenge and insight to the day-to-day decision-making and direction of the business unit.
Responsibilities Collect and maintain weekly and monthly third party data from our partners and send it to teams in a timely and user friendly format. This data is also used in analysis for regular internal reviews and external meetings Product accurate and on time quarterly review data which includes; quarterly dashboards, historical tracking, data consolidation, KPI tracking, sales and forecast analysis, royalty audits and board reports. Participate in partner quarterly business reviews across all key partners, supporting product and partnership team in the preparation and ensuring information is reflected in quarterly budget planning and optimisation. Support with with any ad hoc financial modelling and analysis requests in a timely and accurate manner Product: Support teams with new product development by producing market and category data analysis, scoping out potential profitability, and using your findings to produce detailed scenario modelling Provide relevant analysis and recommendations to support channel growth, with a focus on retail and DTC (ensure consistent data sharing across product and e-commerce teams to inform DTC trading plans) Provide relevant analysis to inform contract renewal optimisation Analyse category and sub category performance to help identify gaps and opportunities proposals by projecting accurate project financial modelling reports, market analysis and potential profitability
Requirements Strong FP&A/Commercial Finance experience (3+ years) Track record of working within consumer sectors Experience with DTC / Licensing is preferable Short notice period or immediately available
