Traffic Marshall

Working for an award-winning logistics business who offer tailor-made, fast, reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions. Our client is seeking a Site Officer to assist the General Manager and Team Leader in maintaining the safety, security and integrity of the site. The shift patterns are 4-on/4-off rotational 12-hour shifts (days and nights) General duties to include: * Monitoring CCTV cameras, site patrols, controlling all entrance and exit barriers, keeping records of and monitoring all vehicles entering the site * Customer intervention where required * Parking of vehicles to ensure maximum utilisation of the truck park * Maintain safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff alike * Processing payments from all customers and the updating of computer records * Welcome customers and visitors to the site in accordance with company procedures * Any other task set by the truck park management or directors of the business Key Skills and Experience: * Previous experience not essential but would be advantageous * A background within a site based/signalling/traffic marshal role would align nicely to this position * Alert and focused Benefits: * 22 days holiday plus bank holidays – increasing annually by 1 day * Employee rewards scheme * Uniform provided * Death in Service * Pension Contribution scheme * Wellness and mental health assistance * Perkbox, (includes life insurance, and health assured wellbeing services) * Discretionary Christmas bonus Only suitable candidates will be directly contacted about this position, and we will not store or process the data of candidates in any way unless consent has been obtained
