Warehouse Supervisor (Parcel sortation)

Location: Newbridge  Job role: Warehouse Supervisor ( Parcel Sortation) Job Type: Full-time, permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 05:00am - 13:30pm Salary: £27,427.50 + Benefits  WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR  Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our  parcels team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Newbridge, this role is based on a basic 40-hour week working Monday - Friday flexibility required as weekend work will be a requirement. WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR DUTIES Set-up and run parcel sortation teams on shift  Supervise parcel sortation team, ensuring productivity for parcels per hour and all associated KPI's are met Coach, mentor and monitor teams overall performance Fix and regenerate customers parcels  Manage full holiday rota for parcel sortation team Conduct performance reviews and manage all return to work meetings  De-brief of drivers ensuring processes are followed correctly Ensuring all parcel sortation paperwork is completed Basic administrative duties To implement the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times To implement the Security Policy ensuring and maintaining a secure passage of goods for the customer Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management or the Shift Manager REQUIREMENTS An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations Experience of working in a transport/logistics environment Able to react quickly to information, helping solve any challenges to routes Experience using in-house transport management systems is an advantage BENEFITS 31 Days Annual Leave (Pro-Rota) Pension Scheme Life Cover Cycle to Work Scheme Eye Care Instant access to Myles E-Learning platform with opportunities to progress your career Automatic entry and consideration for Menzies Distribution SPIRIT award and Safety Star recognition scheme Access to our Employee Assistance Programme Health & Wellbeing Portal A BIT ABOUT US At Menzies Distribution, we have been delivering across the UK since 1833.
