Account Manager We are representing a well-established company in the cleaning services industry, currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team in London. This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. The position involves overseeing operations across various sites to ensure high standards of cleanliness, client satisfaction, and budgetary compliance. Purpose of the Role: The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, and achieving performance, quality, and financial targets. The role also involves managing budgets set by senior management, ensuring smooth operations, motivating cleaning teams, and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Leadership * Motivate and manage cleaning teams to deliver results, providing guidance and coaching to drive continuous improvement. Management of Subcontractors * Conduct regular meetings with sub-contracted service managers (monthly or quarterly) and carry out site walkarounds to ensure quality control and that KPIs are met in line with agreed high standards. Client Relationships * Take ownership of client relationships, working closely with executive teams to become a trusted advisor. Build strong foundations to support company growth while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and client-specific requirements. Budgets * Manage financial aspects, including ordering materials from nominated suppliers, processing monthly payroll, and ensuring all financial operations stay within client-set budgets. Reporting * Attend monthly management meetings, lead discussions, and update minutes. Complete monthly reports and present them to clients as needed, setting and agreeing on KPIs. Human Resources * Oversee the hiring, training, and ongoing development of employees. Handle HR matters such as TUPE, redundancy, and disciplinary issues as required. Maintaining Standards * Conduct daily site walkarounds to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Perform monthly audits, cascading results to Supervisors and subcontractors, and hold regular staff meetings to communicate standards, upcoming events, or other relevant topics.
