We are looking for a Senior Engineer, who will report directly to the Engineering Manager on site. They will be accountable for the completion of work, including ensuring that the work is completed in a quality and timely manner. They will provide support in relation to all maintenance tasks and projects being undertaken, including day to day breakdown, PPM, equipment updates, new installations, and building/infrastructure upgrades. Your Mission at Elis To ensure that the company's vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Support the engineering team with hands on experience to mentor team ensuing that PPMs, SSOWs and working procedures are followed. To ensure that the company's vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Support the Engineering Manager/team to ensure compliance with regulations for fire and alarm systems, PAT, pressure valves, etc., analysing the results and ensuring corrective action is implemented to continuously improve the working environment. Support the Engineering Manager to ensure risk assessments/COSSH/RIDDOR, etc. are implemented and undertaken and accident prevention measures are initiated as required. Support the Engineering Manager with the planning, organising and coordinating resources to meet production requirements of ongoing maintenance and unplanned issues. Support the Engineering Manager to plan and direct operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment as per production requirements. Work with approved suppliers to obtain parts and machinery. Support the Engineering Manager to deliver training to engineers and operators on new machinery, using the machinery documentation and SSOWs. What will make you stand out? Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to analyse data and use it to persuade and influence people at all levels and develop good working relationships that promote team working. Good attention to detail whilst retaining the ability to see the bigger picture. IT literate (Microsoft Office). Ability to motivate people, with a coaching style that builds effective teams and manages performance positively. Able to work autonomously and drive change. Experience: Proven experience of industrial maintenance or production. Operational maintenance experience (hands on) would be preferred. 2 years Team leader experience or CMI level 3 (desirable) Educated in relevant engineering field. NEBOSH qualification (desirable). Experience in applying and implementing LEAN manufacturing systems (desirable).
