Teaching Assistant role Location – North East Birmingham Salary - £90 - £110 per day Start date – September 2024 Job Description: As a Teaching assistant, you will operate within school policies when working with pupils and those involved with them. Encourage and support staff in a positive regard. Assist integration for the child into the rest of the class/group. Maintain good working relationships with the other members of staff. Empower pupils and encourage positive regulation of social and emotional skills. To support the child focus in class and keep them on task to complete work that is set. Develop positive and trusting relationships with the pupils. Listen to the child and offer appropriate support if necessary. Provide information for behavioural records and report back as required. Job Specification: Level two or above Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent. Must be proactive in your approach Flexible in temporary work patterns Team Teach trained desirable, however training provided. Competitive daily rate £90 – £110.
