If you contribute your experience to us in the future, you will experience a surprisingly broad spectrum of national and international challenges, all of which are associated with safety, efficiency, and sustainability.As part of the TV family Risktec Resourcing have been tasked to assist our sister company TV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) formerly ABBs UK technical engineering consultancy to source a CAT 2 Inspection Engineer, Pressure Equipment.Job Description Preparing and reviewing Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) Identifying preparation requirements from the WSE Examination in accordance with the WSE Undertaking simple NDT ultrasonic thickness checks, magnetic particle, dye penetrant Coordination of NDT providers for extensive requirements or specialist methods, Preparation of clear reports including photographs Assessment of deterioration Reviewing design calculations and sentencing defectsEducation HNC/Degree Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Incorporated Engineer status desirable Hold a UKAS RG21 Cat 2 CertificateAt least 5 years experience within a relevant engineering discipline of which at least one year** shall have been spent working within an engineering discipline associated with in-service inspection of pressure systemsConditions/Additional BenefitsCompetative SalaryStandard hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
