CS UK & Guernsey IT Migration Project Manager PAYEContracting 12 months London-based

Description

Department/Job Overview: Working within the CS UK and Guernsey IT management team to ensure timely migration of the CS platform from CS UK / Guernsey to UBS UK / Jersey by Q2 2025. Working with highly skilled and experienced IT and business stakeholders and team on a high profile and complex delivery with a pressured timeline.

Leading a well established and communicative team of SME’s to ensure CS IT deliveries are met in the above program to ensure a successful migration. A high profile and challenging delivery which offers great experience and opportunity to work at one of the largest global wealth managers and with a strong and well established team on critical and high profile delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Ensuring delivery of the CS IT deliveries required as part of the CS to UBS Integration as per required timeline (Q 2025): Working with CS / UBS business and IT SMEs to ensure requirements are received in required format and in some cases supporting requirement analysis, driving and review. Working closely with IT and business stakeholders to overcome blockers / obstacles In meeting the required timeline e.g. resource capacity topics (freeing up CS IT capacity to ensure sufficient progress), working with CS & UBS stakeholders to ensure proposed IT solutions and requests are feasible and resolving areas where prioritization or additional support is needed from IT Timeline and resource planning and monitoring over analysis, development, testing and dress rehearsals / go live. Status Reporting and senior forum updates on progress including but not limited to risk and dependency management, financial management, timeline and RAG reporting. Oversight of full portfolio (including integration topics, reg and risk must deliveries and lifecycle management and tech topics) from a delivery, timeline and financial perspective In addition to the above local line management of release train and testing resources working on the local reg and risk book of work. (3 permanent resources and ~10 vendor staff) Local vendor management of vendors engaged and delivering on the CS UK / Gue local book of work and integration (spanning integration, regulatory and risk must topics as well as Lifecycle management and tech topics)

Qualifications

Essential Skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Proactive and can do approach required Comfortable with leading teams / delivery through ambiguity and being able to understand and prioritize critical path activities. Issue resolution experience – ability to bring stakeholders to gather across complex and pressured topics to find solutions and allow progress Ability to work cross different levels of seniority, locations and organizations to communicate effectively and work towards a common goal Project / program management experience – full experience of the IT delivery lifecycle and agile working

Desired Skills: Previous migration experience Previous experience working in wealth management

Experience Level: 5 + years of senior PM experience Degree level education required Complex delivery with challenging and tight timeline
