In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building and refining cloud-based solutions on AWS. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects that make a real difference.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, excellent Python coding skills, and experience with serverless architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS.Manage and optimize databases for performance and reliability.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code tailored for serverless environments.Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS SAM or Terraform to streamline deployment processes and manage cloud resources.Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure smooth project execution.Keep up with industry developments and recommend the adoption of best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud development, particularly with AWS.Strong expertise in relational databases such as RDS, Aurora, or PostgreSQL.Advanced proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing scalable and maintainable code.Experience with AWS Lambda and Step Functions for creating serverless applications.Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills within cloud environments.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous integration and automated deployments.What’s in It for You?Competitive salary up to £50k.Participation in the company’s share options scheme.Fully remote working environment.
