Our client, a prestigious US law firm, is looking to hire a 1-3PQE Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join their Intellectual Property team on a permanent basis. With a practice focused on trade secrets, patents, copyright, and emerging technologies, the team is celebrated for its deep understanding of the legal and business implications of complex IP issues.The Role: As an IP Litigation Associate, you will be at the forefront of some of the most complex and high-value IP disputes in the market. Your work will span a broad spectrum of cases, including:Technology Disputes: Handling trade secrets, patent infringements, and copyright issues in areas such as software development, cloud computing, and AI-related implementations.IP Crossover Issues: Engaging with cases that involve breach of contract, contractual interpretation, IT infrastructure, data misuse, and reputational threats.High-Profile Cases: Representing clients in significant cases, such as appeals before the Court of Appeal, patent trials, and copyright claims in the Intellectual Property and Enterprise Court.You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in court by conducting examinations and cross-examinations of witnesses, providing legal opinions for international cases, and advising on the IP risks associated with new product launches. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, particularly in technology-related IP disputes.
