Job Requirements / Description
THE ROLE: My client needs an internal sales specialist to coordinate sales and account management activities using your exceptional communication and organisation skills to manage the sales process to a successful conclusion and ensuring consistently high levels of customer service and satisfaction. In this role within a small team you will: Respond quickly and effectively to customer enquiries requests for information by email and other channels. - Administer the sales order process from quote / proposal to delivery and invoicing. - Manage key accounts to ensure continued business and optimise revenue. - Liaise with external sales colleagues for a seamless customer experience. - Work closely with colleagues in all departments to ensure customers are kept informed at all stages and get the information required. - Obtain customer feedback for use in improving products, services and customer experience. - Maintain up to date product, pricing and delivery information. - Effectively manage the CRM system and maintain accurate records. - Develop your product and customer knowledge so you can work with more complex customer requirements. THE CANDIDATE: Ideally with experience in an internal sales or customer service / account management role, a technical background is not required but you will not be afraid to engage with and gain an understanding of technical products in order to understand customer requirements and communicate with clarity and confidence. Your skills and experience should include: - Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt your communication to a diverse business to business customer base. - Computer literate and confident using CRM or similar systems. - High attention to detail and able to maintain accurate and up to date records. - Able to understand and analyse customer requirements and respond appropriately. - Able to influence colleagues and external partners to connect customers to the right people and get the information they need. - Assertive, determined, able to manage your own workload and contribute towards team and company goals in a collaborative environment. - Able to respond in a timely manner and work towards key deadlines.
