Quantity Surveyor – Essex – Roofing Specialist I’m currently representing a specialist contractor with over 30 years of collective management experience, working within the newbuild, social housing, and refurbishment sectors across London and the Southeast. Highlights: * They are a leading roofing specialist in the refurbishment and new build sectors and have installed over 90,000m² of flat roofing in under six years. * Office: Wickford * Roofing Specialist * Turnover: c. £20M * Services: New Build, Main Contractor, Roofing Services, Subcontract Regeneration Roofing Division: Flat Roofing - High Performance Felt Roofing, Single Ply, Hot Melts, Green Roofs, Tiling and Slating, Flat to Pitch and Lightweight tiling, Industrial Roofing and Cladding, Liquid Waterproofing, Lead Works Roofline, RWG’s and Drainage Repairs Externals Division: External Wall Insulation, External Facades, Cladding works, Painting & Decorating, Concrete repairs, Brickwork Repairs, and Landscaping Carpentry. The Position: Reporting directly into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for cash management, by minimising cost and maximising value through proactive analysis and facilitation of works package and the building process to maximise the profitability of the business. Contain, control and accurately report past costs and future financial projections. Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
