Who we're looking for
We are currently looking to recruit someone to take on the challenge of increasing our offline sales and join our outbound sales team in London. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this department is primarily responsible for generating new business and delivering the sales plan. The primary purpose of this role is to bring a proactive, data-driven, strategic approach to selling our premium tickets and hospitality, through enquiries and key outbound leads.
The ideal candidate would have a passion for sports, music and live events and is excited to help the business grow.
We're in the live events business, which means in-person events are our core. This translates to our company culture and this role requires the candidate to be in the office five days a week at our London HQ. This in-person environment fosters agility. Being together allows our team to make quick decisions and adapt to the constant changes in our industry.
Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
Building new business and closing sales
Proactively build the database and client base with business development calls
To undertake outbound sales calls to achieve targeted numbers of sales
Identify key new leads
Converting warm enquiries
When required, attend commercial and networking evenings to represent the company and increase awareness of Seat Unique amongst prospective clients and attract new business
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 year’s sales experience
Professional phone manner
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with HWIs and corporate clients
Confidence in representing the Seat Unique brand
Relevant experience of working in pro-active sales, ideally within a Sports/Events sales environment and/or with high-net-worth clients
Track record of high performance within a sales environment
Excellent written and spoken English
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
Possess a problem-solving, pro-active and consultative approach to meeting clients’ needs
Ability to present complicated options in a clear and effective manner both over the phone and in-person
Ability to function well in a high-pressure environment
Ability to source own sales leads
Ability to multitask effectively
Positive and flexible approach to work with a proven commitment to teamwork
Proven ability to communicate effectively with a dynamic range of individuals - both internally and externally
Excellent organisational, presentational and interpersonal skills
Target Compensation Package:
£35-40K + share options + benefits.
Final offers may differ from the target compensation package, taking factors such as experience level and skill set into consideration.
