Role: Senior DevOps Engineer Salary: Up to £90k Bonus Location: Remote with occasional travel to London Permanent HL12112 Finatal is currently working with a Private Equity-backed Data Centre Business leading a critical transformation towards greater automation and cloud adoption. As the business experiences fast-paced growth and expands its footprint, it is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability through advanced automation practices. Role: As the Senior DevOps Engineer reporting to the Tech Leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust and automated cloud environments. With a core focus on AWS, you will be responsible for streamlining deployment processes, enhancing CI/CD workflows, and improving system monitoring and resilience. Champion best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement effective solutions Enhance system monitoring and observability through the implementation of logging and alerting frameworks Improve system reliability and resilience through automated testing and deployment practices Drive cloud infrastructure cost optimisation initiatives Requirements: Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services, including architecture and automation Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or similar Proven track record in improving system reliability and implementing monitoring solutions Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Willingness to occasionally travel to London for team collaboration and key meetings If this opportunity is of interest, or you know someone who could be a good fit please submit your CV to Harriet at harriet.landerfinatal.com
