Position Ayesa is seeking a talented Civil Engineer join our Water and Wastewater division, focusing on the delivery of projects in Ireland the UK and Saudi Arabia. This role will provide crucial civil engineering expertise to support project delivery for present and future UK water services projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing our service offerings to UK contractors and consultants. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Civil Engineer to contribute to significant water and wastewater projects in Saudi Arabia and the UK. Key Accountabilities: Integrate within our multi-disciplinary design team to deliver robust design solutions to clients. Interface effectively with other engineering disciplines, including process, M&E, and structural. Communicate proficiently with clients and senior staff, managing challenging workloads efficiently. Foster teamwork and good interpersonal skills, while adhering to Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health & Safety Regulations. Manage projects in compliance with Ayesa's Integrated Management System (IMS). Requirements Experience Criteria: Bachelor's degree and ideally a master’s in Civil Engineering. Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure. Progressing towards Chartered status. Previous experience with a general contractor or technology provider would be advantageous. Skills & Knowledge: Proven practical experience in delivering detailed civil design elements for water industry projects, with a good understanding of UK/Irish industry standards. Experience working with UK/Irish Water/contractors in project delivery, resulting in successful engineering solutions implementation. Previous involvement in producing water infrastructure design packs, including specifications and drawings, as well as temporary works designs. Membership in project design teams for water/wastewater treatment facility studies, design, and construction services. Proficiency in preparation and review of preliminary designs, reports, and detailed design drawings and specifications. Ability to work with and guide technicians, attend meetings with design teams, contractors, and clients, and collaborate with architects and other disciplines. Expertise in all aspects of civil engineering water and wastewater infrastructure design, including pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines, and treatment works. Desirable experience in hydraulic modelling and/or surge analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with highly desired skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
