Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis in a lovely school in Tunbridge Wells.This role is full-time/term time (39 weeks). Your time will be spent in the classroom, as well as out on the playground during lunchtime supervision.Your responsibilities will include;- Assisting the children in achieving the lesson objectives- Leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes- Providing feedback to the Class Teacher- Maintaining records of progress and behaviour- Supporting the children with any social, emotional, behavioural, personal care or medical needs and liaising with parents and external professionals.The successful candidate will:- Possess competent numeracy and literacy skills- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Understand the learning needs of the children- Show initiative and knowledge to adapt in line with the pupil's needs- Be committed to raising standards.If you feel like you would be a perfect fit for the role; please do apply now!
