Our client is a Sunderland based charity who are looking for a People Administrator to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Main purpose
The role is the ideal opportunity for an immediately available HR Administrator who is looking for a new challenge. The role is responsible for supporting the HR function to ensure administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Handle and resolve queries received into the People and OD team inboxes.
  • Support the recruitment advisor with advertising new roles and support with aspects of candidate managements including gathering, checking and processing information related to screening checks.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end process of new starters, leavers and contractual changes
  • Ensure compliance with auditing and legislative requirements.
  • Assist the People Business partners with the administration of employee relations matters such as minute taking and drafting and issuing letters.
  • Support with absence management processes.

Person specification
  • Previous experience working at HR Administrator level.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
