Sales Account Manager

Position: Account Manager Location: Worcester (Hybrid post initial training) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + 5% Commission I am currently partnered with an innovative and high performing business in Worcester who are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, focusing on solution rather than product. You should be strong when it comes to building relationships, be able to offer a consultative approach to your clients and offer the best solution. From day 1 you will be given existing accounts to manage and find opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell. However, the majority of your day will focus on developing new business, therefore, you need to be confident on the phone, have previous track record of developing strong relationships and be able to consult. What are we looking for: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar B2B Sales role Previous experience selling solutions - someone who has previously focused on selling products in a transactional setting will not be suitable for this Previous experience generating leads and successfully closing accounts Strong written and oral communication skills Responsibilities: Proactively target prospects and existing customers for new business cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.Manage customer accounts giving high levels of customer serviceAchieve sales goals and targets setAchieve acceptable sales Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as specified by the Sales ManagerMeet customers face to face strengthening relationships and increasing the size/ amount of sales opportunitiesUnderstand the key business objectives of customers and prospects and their future plansWhat's in it for you: Training and development with a strong progression scheme Flexible working post training 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays Free eye tests Company away days And much more
