Position Overview:

The Junior Interior Designer will report to the Senior Interior Designer and be responsible for the design, budgeting and management of a variety of projects, from new build outs through to pitches. The role will require the creation of mood boards, budgeting, and project management through to delivery and execution. It will require finding creative solutions to problems and need an exceptionally high standard of work, with a constant focus on owning projects from start to finish. It will encompass the management of external contractors to maintain Knotel’ s high standards and be at the forefront of evolution of the Knotel product.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and developing new design concepts for the Knotel Services offering, including sketch visuals, furniture schedules and CAD drawings.
  • Implementing environmental branding designs for new and existing customers, producing presentation documents for pitch proposals.
  • Producing workplace strategy plans for new and potential customers and marketing collateral
  • Sourcing innovative & sustainable materials & FF&E for projects


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Organization and timekeeping
  • Conceptual design
  • Good understanding of budget tracking
  • Efficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Autocad
  • Good furniture knowledge in commercial and hospitality brands
  • Willingness to learn
  • High energy and positive outlook
