PRODUCT DESIGN THOUGHT LEADER - GLOBAL B2B BUSINESS This international brand are going through a period of rapid transformation. With a newly formed centralised design squad the team are looking for a seasoned Product Design Director to join the business on a 12 month FTC. What they need - A highly experienced Digital Product Design lead who is no stranger to managing complex products and knows how to lead on strategy across both product design & research Someone with a strong track record of building and scaling teams - an expert mentor & leader for the product design function A digital native who's accustomed to working with ambiguity and isn't afraid to help define processes and the roadmap for the team Someone who can confidently manage both upwards and downwards (across C-suite, product, engineering, etc), leading on digital best practice when it comes to enhancing the product A highly commercial business lead, who can manage budgets and resource across this geographically distributed team Someone who can capably set business priorities, becoming the champion across the business for best-in class user experience design What you're great at - Devising clear product design roadmaps with a strong track record of delivering complex design solutions to enhance a variety of digital products Overseeing design teams, managing remotely, leading from the front and delivering exceptional team mentorship and management as processes & systems are put in place Collaborating with your product & engineering counterparts to deliver the most seamless product experience for the businesses valued users Working at pace within a complex and large corporation, managing stakeholders and teams, budgets and design resource Defining design systems, project managing the product design roadmap and providing strategic design direction for the design squad and wider business At your core you are an exceptional visual designer with strengths in user research, prototyping, UCD principles and design accessibility What you'll get –12 month opportunity to lead the design function for this globally recognised corporation Full benefits TBC
